Several attorneys from the Firm participated in the 2017 Condo Owner Educational Symposium & Trade Show on April 21, 2017 hosted by Condo Owner Magazine. The Symposium provides condominium owners updates on numerous issues that affect condominium associations and unit owners.
Lynn Perry and Will Anderson provided the attendees with information concerning what portions of the condominium property the condominium association is responsible for regarding maintenance and repairs, and what the unit owner is responsible for regarding maintenance and repairs. This presentation discussed what the Alabama Uniform Condominium Act says that addresses this, as well as how documents controlling various associations address these issues.
